Ghost Box

So, you want to do some ghost hunting? One tool you will need is the Ghost Box. The ghost box is a device that is tuned to the AM/FM frequency band - which ghost boxes use has a debate. The radio waves from these stations are used to transmit messages from beyond the grave.

Different ghost box models can be purchased and they differ in features. Some are hand-held and others are mounted on a table or on top of a tripod. There is also some dispute on what type of antenna is needed for maximum performance, but it’s generally agreed that an external antenna should be used when possible. The Ghost Boxes have three basic components: an AM/FM tuner, modulation circuit (microphone or sound card), and speaker or earphones.

The Ghost Box can be used to detect the presence of ghosts, and spirits in general. Other paranormal activities that can be detected using a ghost box include apparitions on film or video, noises or voices in your home, mysterious smells, and touch sensations. Some people have used a ghost box to record EVPs (electronic voice phenomena) such as vocalized words and phrases. There are no licensed manufacturers of Ghost Boxes in the US.

There is also an argument among ghost box users over what frequency range to use with the device. However, there are general guidelines as to which frequencies can be used by different models of Ghost Boxes. This article will outline what you need to know about using a ghost box and how it works. This article is not to be copied verbatim, or taken as a definitive treatise on the subject.

A variety of ghost boxes are a popular piece of equipment used by paranormal investigators to communicate with spirits. One of the most common uses is to use the radio receiver to scan through FM and AM radio stations looking for anomalous results. The ghost box theory is that ghosts communicate primarily through radio and can intentionally or unintentionally modulate normal FM and AM signals, putting unique words, phrases, or messages into common transmissions, which can then be recorded from the speaker using a DAT recorder or other device. The technique attempts to measure the electronic voice phenomenon (EVP).

A number of other investigators, using Ghost Boxes and similar devices, have had their work published in "The Spirits Journals" Magazine, PSI Magazine, and other print magazines. Some ghost box and EVP researchers suggest using different frequencies for different purposes. However, there is no consensus on what frequencies should be used.

Ghost Boxes were prominently featured on the "Ghost Hunters" television series. Ghost Boxes were also prominently featured on the television series "A Haunting" TV series. In 2016, the Ghost Box was prominently used on the television series "Scare Tactics", on Smosh.

Several companies offer ghost box devices for sale. The devices differ in features but generally consist of two components: an AM/FM tuner and a modulation circuit (microphone or sound card). The box ghosts are a popular piece of equipment used by paranormal investigators to detect spirits. Ghost Boxes and similar devices have also been used in film and television.
